Consignment policy
We accept new and like new clothing, shoes, and accessories on an item-by-item basis depending on label, style, season, condition, desirability, resale value, and the needs of the store. We reserve the right to decline any item. Pricing is at the sole discretion of Celery, including markdowns.
Clothing must on hangers and all items are to be in excellent condition. However, if after initial acceptance by Celery we find any undetected issues which render your items unsuitable for resale, consignors will be notified for immediate pickup, or such items will be donated.
Our consignment period is 90 days. However, if Celery determines a longer period may be necessary to obtain the best price for your items, we may keep them for longer periods. All items (with the exception of certain designer items) are subject to 15% markdown after the first 30 days, then additional markdowns will be taken up to the end of the consignment period.
Items may be picked up after the 90-day consignment period. Consignors are given a 10-day grace period to schedule and pick up items. After the 10-day grace period if items are not picked up, items are forfeited to the store and donated. It is solely the consignor’s responsibility to keep track of their expiration date and inform us of pickup. Celery will not notify consignors.
Consignors may keep track of their items and earnings by logging into celery.consignoraccess.com.
Consignors are paid out on the first of each month via ACH payments or a check in store. Consignors may use their balance as store credit anytime and receive 10% more toward their purchase.
Consignor percentage breakdown by price:
· Items with a selling price up to $300, consignors receive 40%
· Items with a selling price $301-$500, consignors receive 50%
· Items with a selling price $501-$1000, consignors receive 60%
· Items with a selling price $1001-up, consignors receive 70%
